Regional Meteorological Centre Lahore has said that there was no threat of water being released in Ravi River by India.
Met expert Shahid Abbas said that India still has the need of more water because its dams were not completely filled.
Criticising the news alert about flood in Ravi River, he said that District Coordination Office had issued the caution but it was only for those people who were living along the banks of the river or on its dry bed, adding that people of Shahdra and Lahore were not under threat.
