Defence Day being observed in a simple manner

The Nation was observing Pakistan Defence Day in simplicity on account of devastation caused by floods in the country.
The Day carries special significance in the national history when the entire nation stood by the gallant armed forces to fight against external aggression against the country.
The Day dawn with prayers in all mosques of the country including those in the garrisons.
Prayers were offered for the prosperity and strength of the country.
Fateha will be offered for the Shuhada who rendered supreme sacrifices while defending the motherland.
