Terming the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s decision to rejoin the government as a ‘temporary injection’, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F Chief Moulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said on Saturday that his party have no immediate plans to follow suit.
Speaking to mediamen at Karachi Airport upon his arrival from Saudi Arabia, Moulana said he would comment on the current political situation after consulting aides.
Earlier, addressing a JUI-F workers meeting in Jeddah, Fazl-ur-Rehman had made it clear that, owing the contradictions in prime minister’s actions, the party was not rejoining the government.
Moulana Fazl-ur-Rehman would chair a meeting of JUI-F supreme council scheduled to be held on Saturday in Karachi. The party strategy would be announced afterwards.
