Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), has announced to hold a public gathering at Lal Qila Ground Azizabad here, January 30.

This was announced by members MQM Rabita Committee, Yousuf Shahwani, Ashfaq Mangi and Gulfaraz Khan Khattak at a press conference at Khursheed Begum Memorial Hall, Azizabad here, said a statement issued by MQM here on Thursday.

It said that MQM Chief Altaf Hussain will also address the event via telephone.

Speaking on the occasion, Yousuf Shahwani said that the success of public gathering would demonstrate that MQM was a political party of all the depressed and deprived people of Pakistan.

He said that his party has organizational structures in Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtoonkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan with sizeable number of workers throughout the country.

He recalled that the successful public gathering at Bhit Shah amply demonstrated that MQM had representation from all the people of Pakistan.
