Denying any conflict with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Sindh interior minister Zulfiqar Mirza said on Friday, the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) did not succumb to pressure tactics.
Speaking to journalists outside Sindh Assembly building here, Mirza said the resistance co-existed with the conflict and there was not a one with MQM.
Difference of opinion was the beauty of democracy, added the minister.
When asked about government’s decision to withdraw POL prices hike, Zulfiqar Mirza said it was decided after thoroughly reviewing the policy.
Earlier, Sindh Assembly adopted a resolution condemning the assassination of former Governor Punjab Salman Taseer.
The session was later adjourned till January 10.
