Central leader of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N), Ahsan Iqbal on Saturday said the PML-N wants that an honest and powerful institution for accountability be established.
The N-League leader was addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club here.
He said the recent augmentation in petroleum products’ prices be immediately withdrawn. The PML-N will table a resolution in the National Assembly against recent increase announced in the petroleum products’ prices, he maintained.
He said the non-development expenditures be curtailed, which, he said can help resolve economic crisis of the country.
The N-League leader said the government institutions be managed professionally.
He said the Charter of Democracy (CoD), is a guiding pricinple, after the Constitution of 1973.
A leader of PML-N Sindh, Salim Zia and other notables were also present on the occasion.
