Hundreds of sacked employees of Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) continue their sit-in on the second consecutive day in favour of their demands in Karachi.
The protesting employees started their sit-in against the KESC administration in front of company head office at Gizri on Thursday.
The sacked employees, despite the cold weather, waited for the company representatives to come and listen to their demands but no such thing happened.
The employees said they were determined not to go home until the company reverse its decision.
Earlier, the KESC stated the employees were sacked after they had refused the company’s offer to retire voluntarily.
