The All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) announced on Friday to hold protest demonstrations across the country against the issuance of arrest warrant for Pervez Musharraf.
Addressing a press conference here, the spokesman for Musharraf’s APML, Chaudhary Fawad Hussain said the warrant was issued in a bid to hide government’s incompetence.
Earlier, the Anti-Terrorist Court in Rawalindi had issued bailable arrest warrant for Pervez Musharraf in connection with the murder of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
“The present administration is conspiring against the former president,” he added.
The spokesman also vowed to organize protests abroad including United Kingdom, United States and Canada.
The party would also hold a mass gathering in Peshawar, Fawad told.
