Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Thursday that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government is doing its best to provide relief to the masses.She told that the new federal cabinet is pursuing the policy laid down by Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani to resolve problems of the people.She said the government is tackling the issues with the consultation of other political parties including PML-N, ANP, MQM etc, She said the PPP government had always welcomed suggestions of the Opposition in the larger interest of the country.

She said that presently all the political parties are working in a cordial democratic atmosphere which was not the case in the past .
To a question, she said the Federal Cabinet was recently reshuffled due to economic crisis and the decision would help reduce the expenditure.
