Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Saturday said that no diplomat can carry arms while travelling to any part of the country.

Talking to media here at Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) headquarters, he said a letter in this regard was already written to all diplomats and it is very much with them.

About Raymond Davis, he said that a separate case was registered against Davis for carrying arms, however, he got bail from the court in the case, he added.

Malik said since the Raymond Davis case is sub judice; therefore, we should avoid comments on it and let the court decide.

The minister made it clear that nobody could do forgery with Davis passport, adding that his passport is with Punjab Police while the federal interior ministry also has his record.

To a question he said that a competent team is investigating into Shaheed Benazir Bhutto murder case.

Replying to a question he stated that action would be taken in Karachi against extortionists.
