Finance ministry releases grant for HEC

The Finance Ministry on Saturday released a grant for the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Finance ministry has also informed HEC in writing in this respect. In a letter written to the HEC, finance ministry stated that the funds could now be collected.
Earlier, the government had decided in principle to abolish HEC set up and suspend release of 4th grant amounting to Rs 700 million to HEC.
