An important sessions of both houses of Parliament will start today (Monday) and special initiatives have been taken for security of parliament, on reports of interior ministry.
Both houses would discus law and order situation of the country including worst situation of Karachi.
The session of Senate would start under chairmanship of Acting Chairman Senate Jan Muhammad Jamali at 4:00PM and the session of National Assembly (NA) would start at 5:00PM under Chairmanship of Speaker NA Dr. Fehmida Mirza.
Meanwhile, House Business Advisory Committees of both houses and the parliamentary parties of various political parties meetings would also to be held today (Monday). All political parties would prepare their strategy for the sessions of both houses.
Moreover, special initiatives have been taken for security of parliament, on reports of interior ministry; no one would be allowed to enter into the parliament premises without checking including employees of parliament and the vehicles of the parliamentarians.
It is decided that the security clearance of employees would again be initiated, in this regard directions have been issued to employees for submission of required information through provided forms and computerized national identity cards.
Meanwhile, 17-member parliamentary committee constituted on the Karachi and Balochistan issues would meet here in parliament house, under the chairmanship of Syed Khurshid Shah.
Committee would approve the recommendations of subordinate committee regarding rules and regulations of the committee.
