President warns of ‘consequences’ if Article 47 imposed

President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday said that Article 47 of the Constitution does not apply on him, but if it was forcefully enforced, he would be compelled to issue his new manifesto ‘I don’t accept such constitution.”.
Talking to Aaj news’ Anchor journalist Nusrat Javed on telephone, the president said that he was absolutely fine but doctors are not allowing him for traveling.
He said that how could Article 47 of the Constitution be imposed on him as he was absolutely fine, “If it is done, then my manifesto will be “Aisay Dastoor ko Main Nahi Manta”, the president was quoted by the Nusrat Javed as saying.
