Minister for Interior, Rehman Malik on Friday said the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has been directed to write to Interpol for issuance of Red Warrant against General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf.

He said procedure has started now and the FIA would approach Interpol within few days for issuance of a red warrant to arrest former military dictator and bring him back to Pakistan  to face charges of his alleged involvement in murder of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.

“We have started the procedure and we will bring Musharraf back to the country soon with a red notice issued through Interpol,” Malik told media here after having a meeting with a delegation from the United States.
