Coach-trailer crash claims 6 lives in Karak near Bannu

At least six people lost their lives in a road accident in Bannu district of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Sunday.

Officials said the incident took place in Jatta Ismail Khel area in Karak district where a trailer collided with a passenger coach, leaving six people dead and nine injured in the tragedy.

Karak is a district of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, 123 km from the provincial capital Peshawar.

It is situated to the south of Kohat District and on the north side of Bannu and Lakki Marwat districts on the main Indus Highway between Peshawar and Karachi.

Kicking off relief activates, the local administration shifted the dead bodies and injured to nearby hospitals.
