Nation observes Martyrs day today

RAWALPINDI: The day of Pakistani army Martyrs is observed here Monday with a parade and tribute in GHQ Rawalpindi.
The sources said that, Martyrs’ Day is to be commemorate to pay tributes to the martyrs of the Pakistan Armed Forces that rendered great sacrifices in defence of the motherland and also fighting terrorism.
Special events were organised to pay tribute to the national heroes at Yadgar-e-Shuhada’s to pay homage to supreme sacrifices rendered by sons of the soil.
Yaum-e-Shuhada’s main ceremony will be held at General Headquarter (GHQ). Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani will be the host of the ceremony.
