Indian PM accepts invitation to visit Pakistan

President Asif ALi Zardari invited Indian Prime Minister to visit Pakistan. Manmohan Singh accepted President Zardari’s invitation.

Informal talks between President Asif Ali Zardari and Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh held at the Prime Minister House on Sunday. Both the leaders  discussed all aspects of Pak-India relations.

President Asif Ali Zardari became the first Pakistani head of state since 2005 to visit India on Sunday for a one-day trip he described as “very fruitful” in improving ties between the rivals.

During a visit billed as private but of great diplomatic significance, Zardari lunched with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and invited him to visit Pakistan.

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh accepted Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari’s invitation to visit the country and said he would be delight to visit the neighbouring country.

In a joint media briefing after the meeting, Manmohan Singh said that both the country would mutually decided schedule for his visit to Pakistan.

President Zardari thanked the Indian Prime Minister for inviting him to India and said that relation between both the countries should be friendly.
