ISLAMABAD: While being interviewed by a local TV channel on Sunday, Imran Khan stated that the drone attacks carried within Pakistan are authorized by the government. He further asserted that such attacks would not occur within his tenure.

“Any drone attacks carried down during my premiership would be destroyed as spotted, in our tenure Americans will not be allowed to carry out drone strikes inside Pakistan,” Imran said. Adding to these points, Imran said that until and unless the current leaders do not stop acting like beggars, foreign powers would continue to infringe Pakistan’s territories.

He further declared that he would never support any unconstitutional step, and that even if an angel came down in uniform, he would not support him.

Imran Khan, along with the rest of PTI members, is to address a public gathering in Quetta on Friday.
