LAHORE: The Mall road in Lahore saw an intense gun battle between two groups on Monday. It has been reported that 1 individual got injured as a result of the firing.

The injured individual is said to be a local civilian and was not connected to the clashing groups. The injured individual is reported to be in a critical state.

Sources have reported the clash to be between two land mafia groups. The firing was so intense that it crippled the area, resulting in the local business operation to be closed.

Fear has gripped the area and the shop-keepers in the area have closed their shops as a result of the firing. Shop-keepers have been reported to be inside their shops, fearing that they may either get shot or their shops may get robbed by the troublemakers.

Police made its way on the reported site late and was not able to respond quickly to the situation.

Reporters have also mentioned that the Police has apprehended 4 offenders with respect to the firing situation.
