Muzaffar Bhutto found dead; JSQM announces strike

HYDERABAD: The dead body of the JSQM’s Central General Secretary, Muzaffar Bhutto, was found near Hyderabad on Tuesday. The JSQM member was reported to have been missing since last few months.

The recovery of the dead body resulted in panic and unrest in different cities of Sindh whereby one individual was reported dead along with 4 others being injured. JSQM has announced a ‘province-wide’ strike for Wednesday.

The body of Muzaffar Bhutto was recovered near Hyderabad, police recovered the body and transferred it to Civil Hospital, Hyderabad. Doctors later pronounced that the JSQM leader was shot to death.

The relatives and the party members of the victim rushed to the hospital after learning about recovery of the dead body. JSQM Chairman, Niaz Kalani, stated that the incident was a sequence of murder of JSQM’s activists.

The victim’s brother stated that Muzaffar Bhutto had anonymously disappeared from the Saeedabad Toll Plaza, several appeals for his recovery were filed within the Court by the victim’s brother.

The information about the death of the JSQM activist engulfed situation within the province. 3 goods-laden trucks were put on fire near Shahdat Kot, resulting in two individuals being injured.

The central market within Larkana’s Tehsil of Dokri was also shut down amid intense firing within the area. The firing incident injured 2 shop-keepers and one customer. Later, one of the injured, Mohammad Dada, died after succumbing to injuries.
