By: Sheraz Nasir, Uploaded: 17th May 2012

According to reports, Pakistan Twenty20 Captain Mohammad Hafeez says, his squad hasn’t played enough international cricket matches recently ahead of the start of its tour to Sri Lanka later next month.

No Pakistani player is taking part in the ongoing Indian Premier League Twenty20 competition in which numerous international teams are competing.

Pakistan played its last International match when it won the Asia Cup final in March. Bangladesh cricket team was invited on Pakistan tour in April, but later it was postponed due to security concerns in the country.

Twenty20 Captain, Mohammad Hafeez says, “missing international cricket” but hopes next week’s four practice matches among his squad will help them get back in the groove.

Pakistan will play two Twenty20 matches, five one-day internationals and three tests against Sri Lanka from June 1 to July 12.
