Two killed, Four policemen injured in Quetta bomb blast

At least two persons have been killed and four policemen including a Station House Officer injured in a remote control bomb attack on Sariab road of the metropolis here on Sunday.

Police sources said that unknown men had planted an explosive material on Sariab road and detonated it when an official vehicle of PS New Sariab carrying policemen passed by.

“As a result of explosion, two persons including a donkey cart owner and a motor rickshaw driver were killed and four policemen including an Inspector were injured,” police said.

The law enforcement personnel rushed to the site and shifted the dead and injured to hospital. The police have cordoned off the entire area to trace the suspects. Further investigation was underway.
