QUETTA: At least three individuals, including a woman, were killed and more then 23 injured in a remote controlled blast at the convoy of Frontier constabulary (FC) near Aalmo chowk, Quetta on Monday, Aaj news reported.
According to our correspondent, the convoy of FC passing from the area carrying many personnel were targeted and many of them were seriously injured.
Around 12 vehicles including two FC vehicles were completely damaged and dead-bodies were recovered from the vehicles.
The area is a crowded market place where the bomb was planted in a white car causing serious damage to the nearby buildings, shops, bank and a car outlet, reports said.
The injured were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) and civil hospital; the blast was of high intensity as it damaged the nearby buildings.
