World XI cricket team’s tour postponed for 2 months

KARACHI: The World XI cricket team’s tour to Pakistan has been delayed for 2 months.

“The tour has been postponed for 2 months, keeping in eye the Sri Lankan tour,” stated Provincial Sports Minister, Mohammad Ali Shah

Sources revealed that matches with the World XI team would be scheduled after Pakistan’s tour of Sri Lanka.

“The new dates for the two T-20 matches with the World XI would be announced after consulting the Pakistan Cricket Board,” said the Provincial Sports Minister.

“The World XI players are ready to come and play in Pakistan,” quoted Shah

The World XI team, led by Sri Lankan Sanath Jayasurisa was supposed to visit Pakistan and play two 20-20 matches within Pakistan on the 25th and 26th of May.
