Renowned Pakistani singer, Adnan Sami, was granted divorce from UAE citizen, Sabah Galadari, by the Bombay High Court on Tuesday. The divorce had remained a controversial issue for Sami and Galadari for several years.

Adnan Sami had married Sabah Galadari in 2001, divorced her in 2004 and later married her again in 2007. Even after the re-marriage things did not turn up good for the couple as Galadari filed for divorce again in 2009. Along with the divorce, the UAE citizen also filed a case against Adnan under the Domestic Violence Act.

Justice Rohan Dalvi of the Bombay High Court granted divorce to both the parties after neither one of them complained against the dissolution of marriage.
