Lady GaGa has tweeted a picture of the black eye she received in a freak on-stage accident in New Zealand.
The pop star, 26, took the snap in her hotel room in Brisbane and confessed that she didn’t want to go out with the shiner.
She tweeted: “Emerging from hours of sleep. Still remiss if I should go outside, with this clonker I may be of questionable styling.
“Thank you so much for all the thoughtful messages. I feel a bit woozy but a little better everyday. Very happy to be in beautiful Australia.”
GaGa was whacked on the head by a pole being carried by a dancer when she was on stage in Auckland, but continued her two-hour show despite suffering a concussion.
Her make-up artist Tara Savelo tweeted after the show: “Gaga has a concussion but she is going to be okay. She wants u to know she loves u. I’m taking care of her, cant believe she finished the show.”
She now has a couple of days off before she resumes her ‘Born This Way tour’ in Brisbane.
The singer will bring her latest outing over to the UK this September with a series of shows in Manchester and London.
Gaga also recently revealed that she would be unveiling the album title of her next record during the same month. (online)
