Integrating Windows 8 and Kinect into future vehicles – Microsoft

Microsoft Connected CarsMicrosoft plans to bury Kinect, Windows 8, Windows Phone, Windows Live, Bing, Azure, and Tellme into the future vehicles. Microsoft hints its aims by its recent job listings on the Microsoft’s website that the software company is looking to integrate programs like Kinect and Windows 8 in tomorrow’s cars.

Remember the times when the only thing we could think about future was flying and talking cars? Looks like our fantasies might come to reality. With the latest integration by Microsoft, the connected cars will know its riders and will interact with them naturally via speech.

With the advancement in application it will keep its riders informed and connected with the people they want to stay in touch with. Microsoft’s impulsions Calls for “distributed, concurrent, and adaptive software running on a network of devices spanning cars, mobile devices, PCs, and the cloud.” This means you can expect the car to remember your frequently traveled routes, Your most played songs, Cloud sync could ensure your latest music downloads are automatically ready to be listened to on your next ride.

The advancement in the vehicles is surely something being looked up to by the car lovers or the non-car lovers. The features which Microsoft Connected Car team aims to integrate, is something that will take driving experience to a new level of interactive journey.
