KARACHI: Muthaida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chairman, Altaf Hussain, stated that his party also represented Pakhtuns and people of Hazara. He made this statement while addressing a public gathering in Jinnah Ground on Sunday.

MQM had organized a public gathering in order to display unity with Pakhtuns and the people of Hazara. The gathering was arranged in order to address the Pakhtuns of Pakistan. The MQM Chief stated that a conspiracy was being “cooked” against the Pakhtuns and the “Urdu Speaking” and that the day had come to eradicate the conspiracy elements.

“Institutions should work within their limits and should always remember that the country has already seen demarcation in the past,” stated Altaf Hussain

Altaf Hussain further added that the conspirators should remember that their cabal may lead to the destruction of Pakistan.

The MQM chief urged the Chief Minister and the Governor to restore peace within the area so that the “income-generating” businesses of Pakhtuns and the Urdu speaking may be saved from being halted. He asked the people of Karachi, particularly the Urdu-speaking people, not to torch the buses and rickshaws of Pashtuns people.
