ISLAMABAD: The meeting of Central Executive Committee of Pakistan Peoples Party is underway at Awan-e-Sadr on Tuesday.
The Co- Chairperson of the party, President Asif Ali Zardari presided over the meeting and PM Yousaf Raza Gilani is also present in the meeting.
The on-going meeting at the Presidency also to review the post-Supreme Court verdict situation.
According to the spokes man of Presidency Farhat Ullah Babar the agenda of the Central Executive Committee would be current political situation of the country ,energy crises, and protest of opposition against government.
The CEC would evolve a strategy regarding charges leveled by the opposition parties in Arsalan Iftikhar Case including different key issues.It also predicted that committee would also take important decisions.
It is pertinent to mention here that the CEC meeting was scheduled on Monday but owing to the death of senior leader Fauzia Wahab it was postponed for one day.
