Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira on Saturday said that Pakistan People’s Party never compromise on principles and manifesto and its workers always rendered sacrifices for upholding democracy in the country. Addressing a public gathering on the occasion of gas supply inauguration ceremony at village Tekria, he said that democratic government always took practical steps for the welfare of the poor people instead of only making promises. He said that government was committed to address all problems on permanent basis including present power shortage.
