KARACHI: The British Deputy High Commissioner and Director for UK Trade and Investment for Pakistan, Francis Campbell, along with the CEO of Sigma Motors, Col (Retd) Syed Zafar Uddin Ahmad, hosted the launch of Ranger Rover `Evoque’ at the British Deputy High Commission in Karachi on Wednesday.

A statement said that the launch ceremony was attended by prominent business professional in Pakistan, and representatives of the diplomatic corps.

It said that on the occasion, Francis Campbell remarked `We are delighted to partner with Sigma Motors to bring such a prestigious British brand to Pakistan’.

He said that the UK Government is fully committed to building on the bilateral trade relationship between our two countries.

Francis Campbell congratulated Sigma Motors for enhancing the automobile sector in Pakistan by introducing advanced UK technologies and in doing so creating thousands of jobs here.

He said that investments such as this will contribute towards our goal of increasing trade between our two countries every year to pound 2.5 billion by 2015.
