DERA GHAZI KHAN,July 14 (APP): Eight people, including two women, were killed and 37 others injured, six of them critically, in a bus-truck collision on the Indus Highway near Jampur here on Saturday.
According to Rescue 1122, a Rajanpur-bound bus carrying pilgrims was coming from Sehwan Sharif when it collided with a truck after its tie-rod was broken near Jampur.
Resultantly, eight people died on the spot while 37 others received injuries.
On information, Rescue 1122 reached the spot and shifted the injured to the DHQ hospital DG Khan while six critical injured were referred to Nishtar Hospital Multan.
