HYDERABAD: Dacoits looted Rs 3.5 million from a private bank within the city of Hyderabad on Friday. Meanwhile, people in different parts of the city were also deprived of their valuables.
According to police officials, 6 unarmed men were involved in the bank heist as they entered the private bank, situated within Latifabad, and took the staff and the security guards as hostage before fleeing away with the cash. An investigation in underway in order to capture the culprits of the incident.
Other reported crimes within the city saw 3 armed men snatching Rs 650,000 and 11 cell-phones from a mobile shop located on the Thandi Sarak.
A trader was also deprived of his 6 lac rupees from the SITE area while another 2.5 lac rupees were snatched from a man who was reportedly leaving a bank with the cash.
