Where earlier, many were unsure and shocked like Tom Cruise of why Katie Holmes filed for divorce and insisting on a sole custody of Suri Cruise. According to a American tabloid, Katie fears that Cruise will drag Suri into the Scientology church, very much like himself.

Speculations has been around about church tailing Holmes weeks before she filed divorce. The American tabloid reported, “We’re told the couple had been arguing over Suri – that she’s now of the age where Scientology becomes a significant part of her life.”

A friend, who worked with Holmes on “Dawson’s Creek,” says “the actress was not at all impressed with the way Tom’s older children Isabella and Connor were taught by the Scientolgists’ programs.

Another British paper quoted, “Suri faced an inquisition of 99 sinister questions at a Scientology boot camp. The chilling prospect helped to convince Katie Holmes to divorce the movie superstar.”

Holmes’ attorney Jonathan Wolfe said in a statement on Friday. “Katie’s primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter’s best interest.”

Cruise tried to push Suri to his faithful propagandism of Scientology, Thats when Holmes decided that she doesn’t want Suri to be forced into the religion. Reports soon emerged that Holmes’ legal team will be “putting Scientology at the very core” of her divorce battle against Cruise.
