Islamabad: Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf transferred 8 Federal Secretaries to new designations and gave approval for the new assignations.

Mohammad Ayub Qazi will be PM Raja Pervaiz Ashraf’s principal secretary and Chaudhry Rasheed will be Information Secretary.

According to the notification Mohammad Ayub Qazi is now Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary; earlier this designation was held by Khushnood  Lashari and from the post of Information Secretary PM removed Taimore Azmat Usman and assigned Chaudhry Rasheed.

Taimore Azmat will now be Secretary of establishment, Waqar Masood as  Secretary Petroleum, Jawaid Iqbal as Secretary Economic Affairs division, Imtiaz Inayat Ilahi as Secretary National regulations service, Kamran Qureshi as  Secretary for the Affairs of Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan and Israr Rauf have been appointed as Secretary Capital Administration. Whereas Major General Tauqeer got assigned as MD Pakistan Agriculture Storage & Service Corporation Limited (PASCO)
