OGRA announces reduction in LPG’s price

OGRA announces reduction in LPG's priceIslamabad: Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced abatement in the price of OGRA in price of Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) across the country. The prices have been reduced to 40 Rs per liter in Rawalpindi and Islamabad and 27 Rs per liter  in Karachi and Lahore.

During the press conference in Islamabad LPG distributors association’s chairman Irfan Khokar said that after the reduction in prices of LPG in international market OGRA has decided to abate the prices. Due to which in Islamabad and Rawalpindi the prices came down to 90 Rs per liter after reduction of 40 Rs where as in Karachi the prices came down to 83 Rs per liter from 110 Rs.

On the other hand OGRA has fixed the importing price to 96 Rs per liter. Irfan Khokhar said that OGRA has issued notification to local companies that those companies who will not supply LPG on the announced prices will face serious action against them.
