The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), has approved that Pakistan will tour India to play a series of three ODI cricket and two T20i matches, Aaj News reported.
However, the series still needs an official green light from the Indian government.
If approved, the series is said to take place during the Christmas break in late December.
It should be noted that the PCB chief Zaka Ashraf, has tirelessly made efforts to resume cricket between the two countries as the sport has its biggest following in the sub-continent.
The venues for ODI are rumored to be Chennai, Delhi and Mohali. Whereas, T20 matches will be played in Bangalore and Ahmedabad.
According to Rajiv Shukla from BCCI, this will be a home series for India and the revenue generated from these matches will not be shared with Pakistan.
Rumor has it that the Indian congress has asked the BCCI to review it’s decision to invite Pakistan for a bilateral series in India.
