Pakistani swimmer and shooter crash out of London Olympics 2012

LONDON: Pakistani swimmer Israr Hussain and shooter Khurram Inaam crashed out of the London Olympics after they lost within the qualifying rounds of the event on Tuesday.

Israr Hussain participated within the qualifying round of the 100 meter free style swimming event but was unable to mark his influence. Out of the 8 swimmers participating in the qualifying round, Israr lost the event by being at the last position. He finished the 100 meter distance in 57.86 seconds.

Representing Pakistan within the past three Olympic events, Khurram Inam also did not make a notable performance and was unable to cross the qualifying round of the skeet event hurdle. He scored a total of 112 points within 5 rounds.

Earlier, Pakistan’s lone female swimmer Anam Banday was also knocked out of the event.
