ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has taken strict notice of the Passport scandal and has termed it as a disgusting conspiracy against Pakistan. Kaira further added that government would file a suit against the concerned newspaper. He made this statement while talking to media representatives following the federal cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
Kaira, who was accompanied by NADRA Chairman Tariq Malik, stated that the concerned British newspaper did not have a good reputation and that the Cabinet has taken strong notice of the issue.
Talking to the media officials, Tariq Malik said that the same picture of Muhammad Ali was also present on his British passport and this was identified by the system when Muhammad Ali came back again to get his card prepared. He also added that the British system was unable to catch him because of the picture issue.
“This is all a conspiracy dug up by the British newspaper against Pakistan, “The Sun” should be aware of the fact that NADRA does not issue passports,” added Malik.
