ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said the new Contempt of Court law is introduced by PPP in order to conceal their treachery and that the main aim of the ruling leaders is to destroy the judiciary.

Imran was addressing a gathering organized by the PTI in Islamabad on Friday. While praising Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim’s appointment as the CEC, Imran stated that Fakhruddin was a neutral person and PTI had strong confidence in him.

Strongly criticizing the Contempt of Court bill, Imran added that the bill has been approved by the government in order to conceal their corruption. “The government is bringing in a law which conflicts with the constitution and we strongly condemn it,” uttered Imran.

“When the judiciary talks about justice, a specific group emerges to revolt against it,” said the PTI chief.

Praising his party, Imran said that PTI was growing strong within the country considering its growing popularity. He added that the mammoth political pundits would be unable to bring down his party.

Talking about peace and stability within the region, Imran said that the country would have to pull out of the “American war”.
