NOWSHERA: Three individuals have been reported dead as a result of flood within the Nowshera area on Wednesday. According to reports, heavy rains inundated sewers which led to the death of the three individuals as a result of drowning.

Heavy rains were reported to have struck the region since 5 am on Wednesday. The dripping continued for around 5 hours with great intensity causing severe damage to several houses and other structures within the area.

Diluvium was also reported in several storm sewers which led the water to enter several houses. Two individuals drowned to death within the storm sewers in the Azakhel area.

Almost 7 to 8 feet water was reported to be clogged within some houses of the Khat Kalay area.

Livestock and agricultural land have also suffered immensely as a result of the rain. A huge area of the agricultural land is reported to be underwater causing severe harm to the crops.
