Balochistan situation discussed

Federal Ministers Syed Naveed Qamar and Farooq H. Naek on Sunday called on Balochistan Governor Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi here at Balochistan House, and discused Balochistan situation.
The meeting also discused further steps needed to improve law and order situation in the province.
Talking to media there, after the meeting, Syed Naveed Qamar said that on the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, he and his other cabinet colleagues were busy in interacting with all those Balochistan leaders and sardars who are pro-Pakistan and talk of a united and prosperious Pakistan. Besides , he said, the Federal Government had taken Balochistan Government on board before taking any important decision about the province.
Today’s meeting with the Balochistan Governor is also part of this process/policy.
He said that the meeting also discused the impact of Balochistan package, and of other political and administrative measures taken so far by the present PPP-led Government.
The Federal Government and Pakistan People’s Party fully realized the gravity of Balochistan situation. That is why, all possible steps were being taken to improve the situation which included Balochistan package.
He said that after taking all stakeholders into confidence and getting their feedback , the Federal Cabinet in its next meeting on Balochistan would come up with more important policy decisions and incentives for Balochistan people.
He emphasized that all the provincial and the federal governments should work seriously and sincerely to improve Balochistan situation in the interest of the country and the people of Balochistan.
To a question, he said that there were evidence of foreign hand behind Balochistan situation.
