LAHORE: Additional District and Sessions Judge, Lahore ordered Punjab police to take an action against CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shahbaz in Ayesha Ahad Malik case, Wednesday. The court heard the case of Ayesha Malik seeking registration of a case against Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and his son MNA Hamza Shahbaz on charges of extending life threats to the petitioner after the SHO concerned produced his report before the court. According to details, former PML-Q MPA Ahad Malik’s wife Riffat Ahad Malik filed an application submitting that she along with her granddaughter was on her way back from court when some armed persons intercepted her car. She said the armed persons warned her to withdraw cases against Hamza Shahbaz and also hurled her life threats. The petitioner alleged that Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz were behind all these threats. Ayesha Ahad Malik, daughter of Ahad Malik, said to be the wife of central leader of PML-N MNA Hamza Shahbaz, filed many cases against him and submitted that he was involved in torturing her and her daughter. After hearing the case court ordered the police to investigation into the matter and take action accordingly. Later the hearing was adjourned.
