FC Major, nine injured in Peshawar Blast

PESHAWAR: Atleast nine army personnel were injured in a remote-controlled bomb exploded in Peshawar’s Hayatabad area near an under construction bridge on Wednesday, Aaj news.

A 3kg explosives was used in the blast, official said.

According to our correspondent, A vehicle of the Frontier Corps (FC) parked near the site of explosion was damaged and three FC personnel onboard the vehicle including a Major suffered injuries in the attack.

Three of the injured were shifted to Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) while the other three were shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC).

Later the security forces  rushed the site and cordoned off the area.
