Pakistani actor/model Imran Abbas will soon be making his debut in Bollywood in an upcoming movie with Akshay Kumar.

After Ali Zafar, next in line comes Imran Abbas who will be making his debut in Bollywood. Born and bred in Islamabad and an architect by profession, Imran initially did not plan on making acting a career. While talking to ‘Times Of India’ Imran stated, “While I was studying in college I started getting modeling offers and then soon got offers to do TV serials and shows. I did some popular Pakistan TV serials with some leading Pakistan actors like Meera, Humaima Malik and so on. It was only after that people started recognizing me and appreciated my acting skills. Soon I realized that I should get into acting seriously.”

He further states, “As you know the Pakistan film industry main kuch khaas kuch nahi ho raha hain. People in Pakistan have grown up watching Bollywood movies and so have I. It has always been my dream of acting in Bollywood movies than acting in Pakistan movies. So finally when I got the offer to do a Bollywood film I just couldn’t refuse it.” he further continues, “I shall be making my debut with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in his next upcoming movie. The shooting will start from next year in month of April. It is a action thriller movie. It’s a great opportunity for me to act with such a leading actor. I shall be undergoing lot of training before the shooting of movie begins. I will have to get trained in dancing , fighting and many other things.”

Imran who spotted in Delhi recently would be soon leaving for home to celebrate the New Year with his family. He says, ” I’m the youngest at home and I’m too attached with my parents. Frankly I feel very homesick so honestly speaking I can’t stay away from home for long. Whenever I get chance I try to get back home to meet my family. I was her in India for a while and shall be coming back again next month for my training. At home everyone is supportive and excited about me joining bollywood movies. Inshallah I hope I keep up to my promise.”

Amongst all the work, Imran did not get a change to spend eid with his family, however he did get to spend some quality time with Dilip Kumar at his Pali hill residence.  While expressing his gratitude, Imran went on, “I missed my family, relatives and friends a lot on the Eid day. I spoke to my parents and they conveyed their wishes to me over the phone. But I got lucky to celebrate my Eid with Dilip saab and Saira Bhaaji at their Pali hill residence in Mumbai.I had gone to wish them personally on the Eid day and they were very happy to see me.” He blushes, ” When Saira Bhaaji saw me she smiled and said ‘koiitnabhi khubsurat ho sakta hain. Then Dilip saab added , ‘Itna haseen ladka agar humare paas na aata to humari badqismati hoti .. is ki maa ne kya kha ke pedakiya tha ise.” Imran added, “At first I just blushed and I didn’t know how to react. But of course those words coming from a legend was a huge motivation for me. I have grown up hearing a lot of stories about Dilipsaab from my father and till date there is a huge list of fan followers of Dilip saab in Pakistan.”
