Olympics: Pakistani athlete Liaquat Ali takes fourth position in 100m dash

Pakistani athlete runner, Liaquat Ali, took fourth place in the 100 meter men’s preliminary race event of the Olympic Games but failed to qualify for the next round.

Ali who is a Pakistan Army soldier finished his run in 10.90 seconds falling short of his personal best of 10.55 seconds.

He missed the third position by 0.01 seconds to Bigangoye who stood third followed by Lumain and Themen who stood second and first in position, respectively.

The winner of the 100 meter race, Themen, finished at 10.55 seconds which i the same as Liaquat Ali’s personal best time.
