Pakistan to face India in U-19 WC quarter final

BRISBANE: Pakistan will face arch rivals India in the quarter final of the Under 19 World Cup to be played on Monday 20th August.The match is due to be played in Townsville.

The Pakistani junior team chased down New Zealand’s target of 152 with 5 wickets in hand. Henry Walsh starred for the Kiwis with 33 runs. Zia-ul-Haq, Ahsaan Adil and Mohammad Nawaz clinched two wickets each for Pakistan.

Imam-ul-Haq was the best scorer for the Pakistani team with 40 runs as they chased down the target within the 20th over.

The other quarter final fixtures are as follows:

Australia v Bangladesh on 19th August
South Africa v England on 19th August
West Indies v New Zealand on 20th August
