UNITED NATIONS: The resolution tabled by Pakistan against the sacrilegious film and other blasphemous contents was accepted by the Organization of Islamic Conference on Saturday. The Foreign Minister participating within the OIC strongly condemned the Anti-Islamic movie which has triggered strong violence and protests around the Muslim world.
Pakistan had moved the resolution during the annual meeting of the OIC. The Foreign Ministers of all the participating nations, while expressing severe response against the movie, stated that Anti-Islamic content was regularly being produced and promoted within the name of ‘freedom of speech’, and this was contrary to the measures provided by the International Human Rights which promotes liberty of religion.
