Hadia Tajik became the first Muslim to be part of the Norwegian cabinet. The 29 year old Tajik, whose parents were born in Pakistan, will also be the only Norwegian cabinet member of foreign descent.
Hadia Tajik has been handed Culture portfolio by the Prime Minister as she became the youngest ever cabinet member to be part of the Norwegian cabinet.
Hadia Tajik is a lawyer, journalist and politician. She is considered to be of Pakistani origin because of her parents affiliation with Pakistan. Tajik was elected as a member of the Norwegian parliament in 2009.
