Petrol price to be raised upto Rs.5.50

KARACHI: After reduction of Rs.4 at petroleum last week, the government on Friday increased the price by Rs.5.50 per litre, effective from Monday (Sept 17)

Also high octane high upto Rs.2. High Speed Diesel to be reduced by Rs.1.15.

Earlier this week the prices of petrol was reduced by Rs4.65 per litre.

According to a notification issued here, the HOBC price also to be increased to Rs1.5 to 2 per litre.

The government is already collecting petroleum levy on petrol at the rate of Rs8.86 per litre.

After the current changes in prices petrol will be sold at Rs 105.60 per litre.

CNG price is also expected to be increased.
